What is Laser Tattoo Removal
Laser tattoo removal is a medical procedure that uses concentrated beams of light to break down tattoo ink in the skin. The laser targets the ink particles without significantly damaging the surrounding tissue, breaking them into smaller pieces that the body’s immune system can gradually remove. Multiple sessions are usually needed because different colors and depths of ink respond differently to the laser. Over time, this process can significantly fade or completely remove a tattoo.
What is the Criteria for Tattoo Removal
The laser will not work on light blue/teal or yellow colors. Pricing varies by size from $100-$250 per session, with tattoos larger than a DVD case requiring special consultation for price. Tattoos typically take 3-8 sessions to remove depending on your goals. Tattoos can be lightened in fewer sessions for coverups. A photo of your tattoo can be sent to info@foursistersvt.com if you're unsure about treatment.
